HOLY or holiness is discussed in 51 of the 66 books of the Bible.  It’s important.  But I am not going to go through 51 books; I am sharing highlights that I hope will cause you to be in awe and wonder and even greater, determined to seek out holiness in greater measure.

What does it mean to develop a Godly character?  And what difference does it make?

In the world view of things, success, doing whatever feels good, and self are celebrated.

We see this amplified in social media.  Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of informative, entertaining, cool and helpful content in social media.  I don’t know how many things I have been able to actually repair because of YouTube.

But there is also a darker side to social media that we all see.  One that rewards self-aggrandizement.  Think of people who post almost nothing but selfies.  The “look at me” culture thrives on the number of clicks, views, likes, and followers one can get. The internet, which reflects the world, is full of self-glorification and vainglory.

Leading by serving. What does this mean? It makes no sense. Don’t you lead by leading? Not according to God’s Word.God often does things that seem to make no sense to the world view of things.
